Bread, also loved by millions
Beer Bread!? Yes please!

Personally i’d never heard of Beer bread until recently but as soon as I did I was intreagued and thus started my journey into the world of bread!

Below are directions on how I made my delicious bread for you to try.

What you will need:
330 ml of beer (I opted for Corona beer as i felt it fitting to the times)
375 g of self raising flour
3 tbsp of caster sugar
A small amount of melted butter
1 large mixing bowl
1 9×5″ greased loaf tin


Step 1:
Preheat your oven to 180 c / Gas mark 4. While it’s warming up, mix the flour, sugar and beer together in your mixing bowl until you reach a consistent but sticky mess.

Step 2:
Pour the concoction into your tin and brush the top of the mixture with the melted butter then place on the middle shelf of your oven and bake for 60 minutes.

Step 3:
Once cooked the top should be golden and crunchy and the center soft.

Step 4:
Sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labour

Once you’ve discovered how awesomely easy this is to make then you can start experimenting. Try using Cider or add honey, cheese or chives. The possibilities are endless!
